21st JAN 2013

More spaceship shennanigans.

Just what I was tooling around with at the Galway Pub Scrawl last night, but in service to that comicbookery I was talking about recently.

This is more like the right angle for the ship-to-ship picture I was talking about, but the scale is still wrong. The broken ship is a colony ship - it needs to seem COLOSSAL. The small ship is like a fighter, although for the purpose of the story it will have been retro-fitted with some stuff bolted on the back.

25th DEC 2012

Colouring in the whole page really eats away at the hour. My Pocket Brush is out and I don't have refills with me at work either, so screw it, you can see what's up. The protagonists wander across a huge colony ship that's been hit by a mass driver rock. This doesn't have enough drama in this pose though. I think the final version the Colony ship will be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay bigger and at an angle across the page, and the mass driver will have broken its "back" rather than be embedded in the front.
